First Omaha Hi/Lo Freeroll

Well I missed the register for the Hubble so I got in the Omaha Hi/Lo free roll on stars and tried it out. I did well at first winning with high hands and sometimes splitting it with others. But then got in Hold 'em mode playing two pair and top pair and that's not the way to go I'm sure anyone who plays this game knows that. Anyways I didn't do that well not even the first break. I think all I learned from this is that NL Hold 'em is the only game for me!

The Hubble Challenge

Well since I have no BR right now on Poker Stars I decided to create a new challenge incorporating Poker Star's Hubble's No Limit Free roll.
The Challenge will consist of two parts, one being the Hubble tournament itself and the second will be about the $2k free roll which is played when you place in the first tourney and receive the ticket.

Rules:
1.) You are allowed to play as many as possible(hubble's freerolls) within a 1 month period.
2.) If you place and receive a ticket, you must buy in to the $2k tourney before the 1 month period is over.
3.) Only money won from the Hubble's free roll can be used toward reaching the goal.
Goal:
Creating a bankroll from playing the Hubble tournament/$2k free roll on Poker Stars equaling what would be the minimum deposit of $50 on Poker Stars(basically $50)

Good Luck to all who may try this challenge. I will be posting on this blog and updating daily!

Starting with a 0$ BankRoll

Tonight was a good run but i think i got knocked out around 500. I haven't been saving my hand histories to my computer so i didn't get my last hand but it was sick, the pot was about 84k, anyways there were three people in the hand, and all three were all in pre-flop. I had AA....and they had 1010 and JJ.....flop was 7 J Q....need I say more. Although I did place well field, 500/12,000. The top 99 got a ticket to the $2k free roll, and the 12k field was all free roll donks but i managed to get deep by switching gears a lot.
I'll keep trying these free rolls for free money, but I think by the weekend I am going to deposit again.

Bad Day, Bad Luck

Really I should have not played today. It was such a bad day of poker and I've been only playing for about 2 hours. I lost both my BR on Stars and FT but they were only $20 each so i really didnt have enough to handle swings and buy back in. So pretty much right now i have to rely on freerolls untill I deposit. I canceled my credit card....didn't need it, and I have a good amount of cash but can't deposit...I tried using a prepaid card but got the reloadable one and it didnt work. I can't find the regular ones anywhere for some reason. Well untill I get some more money online my $20 million challenge is going to be delayed. It is depressing that it ended so quickly only two days, not even. Good Luck to all who do this challenge. I've noticed every time I try a poker challenge through my forum, I lose my BR lol. I def. need to change something. I'm reading Negranue's book again and I think I'll qoute him on here for tips daily.

Bad BR Managment

Well lastnight around 10:0pm I had my 20$ set up in both accounts on FullTilt and Pokestars. I am sad to say i am down half my BR on FullTilt($9.23) and 3/4 my BR on PokerStars($4.92). My PokerStars BR went down so far due to bad BR managment. I started off playing a $0.10/0.25 cash game with some friends on CardsChat. I had ups and downs and was at once profiting from my BR but when my AK got busted by K2???? I sat out and told my friends I shouldn't have even played and that was going to play smaller limits. So now I am grinding it out at the $0.1/0.02 tables. This should be fun. I could just play an sng or tournament to try and bulk my BR but i think i can slowly build it back up and hen started making better BR decisions.

Monthly Data Graphs

In order to make this challenge easy to keep up with and follow, I am going to create my own graphs in Adobe Illustrator, at the end of every month session for the 12 months the challenge takes place.
Mainly using line graphs I will basically show my bankrolls statistics throughout the month. These graphs will make it easy to see my progress(well hopefully progress).
If any other Bloggers also participating want me to create a graph for them also just email me all your stats for the month via email. My email address should be in my blog(I think my profile.
Although I haven't made a graph yet in Illustrator. So i don't know exactly how I am going to get the graphs on my blog. Also don't worry about having the Adobe software, I'll just take a snapshot and send it back to you in an attachment!

Oh yeah and I'll do it for free. As long as you use it well and mention my name...hehe

$20 Millionaire

Well this is my first post in my first online poker blog. I am going to start it of by participating in a challenge made by a fellow CC(CardsChat) member. It's called the 20$ Millionaire challenge. It's called this because the challenge is to turn 20$ into 1 million within a 12 month period.
Honestly I think this is a very very hard challenge and it seems impossible, but I'm not here to doubt myself. I am going to start with 20$ on both PokerStars and FullTilt. I will follow his rules exactly, and will try to show my results day by day in the best way possibe(updated bankroll stats, graphs, and charts)
Hopefully you reading this will start one too and enjoy on the fun!
