Why didnt' I use BRM before?

Wow lately I really appreciate Bank Roll Management and cannot stress how important it is in sustaining a Bank roll. So far just by playing in my limits, mainly 1$ sngs, mtts, and 5$nl, I'm doing fairly well with slight downswings, but guess what, by having BRM my BR could take the hits, and now I have increased my starting BR by nearly 80%, which I personally am happy with.
OK, enough with BRM. I recently bought two poker books and will be reading them soon. I bought "Kill Phil" and "ZEN and the art of poker". I will update somewhat of a critique on both and my opinion and a possble suggestion to buy the books.

Good Day but not a Good 100k

Well i didn't do well in the 100k, getting knocked out by hitting a set and being beat by a higher set isnt always fun. But other than that i have increased my BR by 15$! Im am happy with my play and good brm dicipline. So cheers to a new week and good brm!

Doing well! Here I come 100K

Well so far I did well today, about 20 points away from the top 100 lb on PS's BOP(battle of the Planets), my BR is around the same but i won a sattelite in to the Sunday 100K! It was an amazing story as I came back from 245 chips on the bubble to win a seat , it was amazing. Anyways I am going to get some sleep and rest for the long 100K tommorow 22500 max entrants and 3k starting chips....whew!

On my way to 100$

Well i did pretty well today while playing sng's for the BOP on Stars. Out of 7 sngs, I got 1st 3 times, 2nd once, and 3 once, the two others i busted before the money, but im very happy with my play. I have 13 more sng's to play to fill my 20 game block, which means multitabling tommmorow until midnight to make it, i can almost gaurantee a top 100 finish!

Back in the saddle

Well its time to grind and this time my bank roll is on Poker Stars. I basically plan on playing strictly Sng's and Mtt's, and following correct bank roll management. I am also planing on playing in the Battle of the Planets promo on Poker Stars as well. I am off to a good start since i won my first 18 player sng of the night which will surely help my first block in the promotion. Well wish me luck back to real money!

From now on everynight i will be posting my BR for personal purposes to help me out, so here is my first one, after paying 2 people back and depositing 80$......

Real money, No deposit

Ok well after the post below, and saying i'm going to take a break, I go and get 2nd in a 300$ freeroll. I did well in that even know it was a turbo, and managed to walk away with 42$, followed by a 30 person 1$ buyin sng that I won, bring me to about 53$. So from there i wanted to somehow get the money on Stars or Full Tilt, due to me being a mac user, and it wasn't easy. But i managed to get 20$ traded from a good friend. After some ups and downs and on FT i managed to be back to around 19.90$, with a plan to play an MTT tonight.

Small Break

Well I have been playing a lot of freerolls mainly CC events and losing almost all of them(not getting ITM) takes a toll on your poker ego. Anyways i did well last night in the .10c rebuy on FT and turned it into almost 4$ butlost it as well. So my plan is to take the next 4 days or so off untill i deposit on Thurs.
